Thirty years working in data and analytics have led me to a singular conclusion.

I partner with business leaders  intent on extracting value from their data, some of whom are frustrated with the lack of results from investing in expensive platforms, consulting, or increased IT headcount. 

I've developed a playbook to help people create and optimize a data supply chain that accelerates processing data into engaging, useful products that drive impact. This playbook works for organizations of all types and sizes and can be applied to any technology stack.  Investment and program recommendations are driven by pragmatism and sustainability within your existing financial, technical, and talent constraints.  

Cool toys come later.  Core competencies come first.

The data industry moves fast with ever-expanding frontiers.  Throughout my career, I've been an active change agent.  Here's a few highlights:

• I created initial data warehouses in multiple start ups during the dotcom boom.
• I drove centralization of data warehousing and business intelligence for a Fortune 500 company in the CPG industry.
• I've consistently implemented upfront standardization of modeling, naming and documentation conventions, and access control.
• I developed a rapid ingestion framework leveraging the data vault modeling paradigm in a Fortune 50 company.
• I implemented one of the first small footprint data architectures in the early days of MS Fabric for a company in the heavy construction industry.

Now, I'm advancing the next paradigm shifts for data in the age of emerging AI.
